What we offer

Services

Five licensed clinicians working mainly with trauma, plus two-day intensives for people who would rather do concentrated work than spread it across months. Not sure which fits? Say what is going on and we will point you at the right person.

Individual Therapy

What it is
One-on-one sessions tailored to your goals: anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more.
Who works this way
All five clinicians. Approaches across the team include EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused work, biofeedback and ILF neurofeedback, so we can usually match the method to the person rather than the other way round.

Family Counseling

What it is
Support for families navigating conflict, communication, and change, building healthier dynamics together.
Worth knowing
Ages vary by clinician. Rachel Whipple works with adolescents and adults 14 and up. Janina Martin works with youth 15 and up and adults across the lifespan. Tara Flores works with individuals and families across the lifespan, with a particular interest in supporting caregivers.

Couples Counseling

What it is
A dedicated space for partners to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and reconnect.
Worth knowing
Rachel Whipple holds specialized training in the Gottman Method. If you would rather do concentrated work than weekly sessions, there is also a two-day couples intensive.

EMDR

What it is
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a structured and well researched approach to trauma. It is also used for performance anxiety.
Who provides it
Rachel Whipple, LCSW, RPT-S, who holds specialized EMDR training, and Chiyo Churchill, LMFT, who specializes in complex trauma and intrafamilial sexual abuse with specific training in EMDR.

ILF Neurofeedback

What it is
Infra-Low Frequency neurofeedback helps calm the nervous system and reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress, and trauma. It is non-invasive and has been shown to have a wide range of positive effects.
How it works here
Your clinician first assesses what you are experiencing, then works with you to build a protocol unique to your symptom profile and individual needs. It can be helpful on its own and complementary alongside other therapeutic approaches.
Who provides it
Janina Martin, LCSW. Chiyo Churchill, LMFT, also holds specific neurofeedback training.

Intensives

2 daysinstead of months

What it is
Ten hours of focused therapy across two days, run with both a mental health therapist and a physical therapist, because trauma lives in the body as well as the mind. Three tracks: trauma focused, couples, and parenting and family.
